If its privacy you seek, Baobab Hill Bush House is the answer! It is the former residence of the Pafuri Section Ranger but is now converted into an exclusive-use, luxury guest house.
This cosy homestead perches on a ridge just north of the Luvuvhu River. It is shaded by the branches of great baobabs and shrouded in history. Here, privacy and comfort reign: four bedrooms sleep up to eight people, and the open-plan kitchen, dining room and lounge provide ample space to spend time together.
The “Out of Africa” veranda is the highlight of the bush house, and you’ll find yourself drawn to it for sundowners and stargazing. If you’d like to explore the surrounding bush be it on foot or in an open safari vehicle, a professional guide and open safari vehicle is included.
To make your stay hassle-free, the bush house comes with a cook, housekeeper and camp-hand. The bush house can be booked on a catered or self-catering basis.

This rustic homestead offers ideal accommodation for families or friends seeking privacy and comfort in the bush. It consists of four bedrooms ad sleeps up to eight people, with a home kitchen, open plan dining room and lounge, swimming pool, and Out of Africa veranda, perfect for sundowners or dinners in the early evenings. The property is fenced, offering a child friendly environment. To help you explore the rich diversity of our concession, a professional guide and open safari vehicle are on hand.
Location
Baobab Hill Bush House is located in the far north of Kruger National Park, one of our favourite areas of Kruger. This is within the Makuleke Concession and close to South Africa’s international border with Zimbabwe. The closest park entrance gate is Pafuri Gate (24km), while the Punda Maria Gate (60km) can also provide access. The Punda Maria Rest Camp is 59km to the south.
The nearest reasonably sized town is Louis Trichardt (210km). The nearest well-serviced airport is Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport, although this is some 310km away, so transfers or a night’s accommodation before arriving at Baobab Hill Bush House might be advisable.
