The Wild Dog Inn Guest Lodge is situated on the greenbelt of Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, a conserved 680ha reserve that lies at the foot of the Klein Drakensberg Mountain escarpment, between the Blyde River Valley and Kruger National Park.
This exclusive estate’s pristine lowveld bush is home to a splendid array of plants, birds and animals. Impala, kudu, zebra, waterbuck, giraffe and wildebeest graze peacefully, while stocky warthogs and busy banded mongoose search for food. Hyena and leopard sightings also occur within the Estate, while nocturnal creatures operate with their highly developed senses during the magical starred African nights.
Wild Dog Inn Guest Lodge offers two modern one-bedroom self-catering guest cottages. The cottages have recently been transformed with a fresh new interior look, which will offer guests the most elegant and pleasant stay. Both cottages are air-conditioned, have a private patio and offer a high level of privacy with their own entrances. Guests can enjoy their meals at the dining table or relax in the lounge.

The cottages have recently been transformed with a fresh new interior look, which will offer guests the most elegant and pleasant stay. Both cottages are air-conditioned, have a private patio and offer a high level of privacy with their own entrances. Guests can enjoy their meals at the dining table or relax in the lounge.
Sable Cottage
The Sable Cottage overlooks the bush and is perfectly suited for a family and birdwatchers as it offers a magical view of the Wild Dog Inn wildlife waterhole. This cottage can comfortably accommodate two adults and one child as it is made up with a Queen sized bed as well as a sleeper couch. This cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, en-suite bathroom with shower and air-conditioning for those warm summer days. Guests can enjoy sundowners on the cottage veranda while searching for game approaching the waterhole. The veranda’s outside built-in braai area allows guests to enjoy their relaxing bushveld braai/barbeque.

Nyala Cottage
The Nyala Cottage offers a high level of privacy and is perfect for couples. This cottage is made up of a double bed, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, air-conditioning for those warm summer days and built-in outside braai area and its own private entrance.

Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport (15km) and Skukuza Airport (141km) are accessible. Furthermore, OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg is 440km / 5-hours driving from this accommodation.
